Davros (aka Abelcain) returns to Noizetek, this time in direct battle with the mighty Unibomber! The inspiration for this release came from their “Final Amiga Battle” live set which was performed at the now legendary Schizophrenia show in the U.S.A. Creating the entire record using only the Commodore Amiga home computer, Davros and Unibomber showcase their own viscous blend of industrial hardcore and splintered broken beats with that unmistakable 8-bit crunch!

I really wanted to do a proper live album but there arent high quality recordings of the set to use. a doormouse accapella 7" would be awesome though. maybe dan would like to re-do all his vocals in the studio for us

As most of us now know, in the words of Randy Savage, "only one man can be the (8-bit Amiga) champion." As most of us also know by now, MC Doormouse didn't give the crowd a chance to select the Unibomber as the winner of the battle at the end of the performance on that snowy winter eve in Detroit... some might think it was a sly donkey-dick-eating move, but I think it's clear that Dan did it on purpose, not so much as a bitch-slap after 4 long months of Commodore toil, but as a reference to what was to come... he knew the winner of the battle would ultimately be decided when this release finally slithered it's way into the hands of the deciders...

...now it's here. Who's the winner?

The listener, yes.

The original pressing was to be at 45, so tracks/sides were kept to a minimum time length. Once the presssing was switched to 33, there would have been enough time to fit the booty track on there but that would have come at the expense of the record not being done on time for Schizo 3.

The record was/is dedicated to Mark N and all Bloody Fist acts, so getting it over here on time took presidence over my crappy booty track.

Support Noizetek and Midwest Hardcore and get your copy before they're gone.

There are only two ways to hear an amiga:

1) Live from the real thing
2) On vinyl

I don't give a shit how many times you've listened to the mp3s over at the profile, it sounds mighty beefier through wax and different enough to warrant purchasing a copy.
